Road humps - Bridgnorth Rd, Broseley

Notice is hereby given that Shropshire Council, under the powers contained in Section 90 of the Highways Act 1980, proposes to introduce the following traffic calming measures to reduce the speed of traffic, create a safer environment and reduce the risk of accidents

Junction plateau

A junction plateau (raised table) is proposed at the following locations. Typically the height of the plateau will be 75-100mm high and will have entry/exit ramps between 1.2 metres and 1.5 metres long:

  • At the junction of Bridgnorth Road and Foundry Lane
  • At the junction of Bridgnorth Road and Wilkinson Avenue (North)
  • At the junction of Bridgnorth Road and Wilkinson Avenue (South)

A plan illustrating these proposals may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at The Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, or at Broseley Library, Bridgnorth Road, Broseley, and is also attached to this page.
