Governing Body Committees

Governing bodies are encouraged to have an effective committee structure to exercise their responsibilities properly and effectively. Any committee established by the governing body must have a purpose and that purpose needs to be clear and understood. The Local Authority provides suggested terms of reference for the various committees which a governing body may choose to establish. To access these terms of reference follow the link on this page.
