If you'd like to book a private Darwin Guided Walk, you can do so via the visitor information centre. Walks can be arranged for any time of the year. The guide can take up to 20 people in a group, and the tours are £60 per guide. The tours last an hour and a half, and can be booked for any time during the day - the last departure time is 7pm.

Charles Darwin was born in Shrewsbury in 1809 and the town has many buildings and areas that are associated with him and his family.

Each year as part of the Darwin Festival during February, the Shrewsbury Visitor Information centre offers a series of guided walks exploring the buildings and parts of the town that he and the Darwin family knew.

The next series of Darwin Walks will take place in 2017, as part of the Darwin Festival, starting as follows:

11am, Saturday 11 February

Adult £7.50, child £2.50 (booking essential - contact us using the details on this page)
