Supporting People consultation events bring together all individuals and organisations who are interested in the Supporting People programme and can help with the planning process. They aim to get the views and ideas of everyone so that the needs of vulnerable people across Shropshire are recognised and met.
If you are an interested organisation, individual or service user who feels that you and Supporting People could benefit from attending a forum event, please contact the Supporting People Team.
Supporting People consultation events fall into two categories:
Shropshire Housing Support Group
Shropshire Housing Support Group holds meetings throughout the year. It is made up of representatives from a range of Supporting People services, and run by the service users, with the help of the service user coordinator.

Providers Forum
The Providers Forum is open to all providers of support services in Shropshire. It is an opportunity for providers to have input into the Supporting People programme in Shropshire, and to give feedback on proposed developments. Provider Forum meetings are held every two to three months.
