Requests for aids and adaptations will normally only be considered if the disabled person is either the tenant or his/her partner, or a member of the tenant's immediate family and must be permanently resident in the household.
Minor adaptations
Special adaptive equipment can be provided which does not need fitting, such as walking aids. A minor adaptation can be a grab rail, lever taps or sensory equipment if you are hard of hearing. Minor adaptations are done as part of our responsive maintenance service.
To arrange a minor adaptation, contact your local housing office in Castle View, Oswestry or Westgate, Bridgnorth and we will give you a date that we will complete this.

Major adaptations
Major adaptations are made to a property when you need more help because of difficulties. Some examples include not being able to use your stairs anymore, or your bath or shower without assistance. An Occupational Therapist will visit you to assess your needs.
To request an adaptation you must first be referred or refer yourself to Social Care for an assessment of your needs. For more information on how to do this follow the links on this page.
