Road closure to carry out roadworks application online
Are you planning to carry out roadworks and need to apply for the closure of a road?
This page will provide you with the background information needed to submit an application to the local divisional surveyor.
You can apply by:
- Completing the on-line form by following the link on this page.
- Printing and completing the pdf form attached to this page. Please note: when the application form is completed, it will need to be submitted to your local divisional office - all of the addresses are included on the form.
The attached form should be completed by the applicant and forwarded to the council at least six weeks prior to the proposed closure date. Completion will provide most if not all of the information required to make a decision on the viability of the proposal.
