The LA provides a range of support services to ensure that advice and support is available to parents, children and schools within Shropshire. These services are managed by Telford & Wrekin Local Authority and bought back under joint arrangements. These services are based at Glebe Street, Wellington

Parent Partnership Scheme
An independent support service offering impartial advice to the parents and carers of children who have special educational needs.

West Midlands Special Educational Needs Mediation Service
The independent service set up to help resolve SEN disagreement in the Midlands. The parties involved in the dispute work together to reach an acceptable solution, with the help of a trained mediator.
