Who is involved in the ISA process?

The people and agencies involved in ISA are from all our partner organisations including: -

  • Schools, for example, the head teacher, teachers and support staff.
  • Health, for example, a health visitor.
  • Children and Young People's Services, for example, education welfare officer, social worker.
  • Connexions, for example, a personal adviser.
  • Youth Service, for example, a youth worker.
  • Other people from the following services are also involved in ISA, for example Sure Start, Youth Offending Service, Police, Housing and Fire Services.

ISA aims to improve the way these different people and agencies work together. To help with this, there are five local ISA Co-ordinators who support these people and agencies to use ISA.

Parents and carers and the child or young person are very much a part of the ISA process and are involved from the very beginning.
