What is it?
The Shrewsbury Severn Bridges Road Race is an annual sporting event that takes runners on a unique course through the picturesque town of Shrewsbury.
This year's event took place on Sunday 17 September 2017 at 10am in The Quarry, Shrewsbury. The race was won by James Hickinbottom from Shrewsbury Athletics Club in a time of 34.25. The first female across the line was Lydia Carter, also from Shrewsbury Athletics Club, in a time of 43.00.
The fun run attracted nearly 40 young runners who took part in the 1k run around the picturesque Quarry Park. All runners received a medal for their efforts.
