Employment and disability

Employment is a key feature of social inclusion. It provides not only financial reward (and spending power) but many other positive gains including social networks, status, increased confidence and self-esteem and a structured and meaningful lifestyle.

The labour market has, however, traditionally marginalised and excluded people with disabilities.

In contrast, Enable aims to help people with disabilities into open market job opportunities in companies and organisations throughout Shropshire.
