Our Learning Disability team assist and support people with a learning disability to find appropriate employment opportunities.
Enable has an excellent track record of helping people find jobs with supportive employers. We have built strong links with both large and small companies throughout the county and we are experienced in negotiating roles and adaptations for people with disabilities.
For someone with a learning disability wanting to go into work, Enable offers a wide range of individual support which includes; helping a person identify an appropriate and realistic career choice and develop the right skills to secure that job.
We can help right a CV, complete job applications, offer interview practice, as well as support at interviews.
We cover all aspects of travel training enabling a person to achieve more independence and confidence about travelling on their own.
Once someone is in a job we can also provide a jobcoach to help them learn their new role.
