The Gateway reception is open Monday - Friday 9am - 4.30pm.
Cheques (crossed) should be made payable to 'Shropshire Council'.
Bookings using MasterCard/Switch/Visa are accepted.
Changes to courses and refunds
Course fees are based on a minimum number of participants, and the offer of a place is subject to enough enrolments being received.
Fees will be refunded if course enrolments are not sufficient. Alternatively, the course may continue if a higher fee is agreed or the number of tuition hours is reduced.
Cancellation of a place by a course member, either before a course starts or during the life of the course, does not qualify for a refund. A partial refund may be considered if a medical certificate is produced.
The Skills Funding Agency, which funds Adult and Community Learning, has determined that certain categories of learners will be entitled to fee remission for the academic year 2011 - 2012.
These are the people who are on:
- Jobseekers allowance, including the partner where the claim is joint.
- Employment and support allowance in the work activity group.
You are required to provide proof of your benefit when enrolling.
If you are keen to join a course but are disabled or have a learning disability, please feel free to bring a friend or carer along to assist you free of charge.
We retain the right to change rooms and tutors and to cancel courses if appropriate.
