A selection of comments made about Bishop's Castle Library appear on this page. • I do not have a television or computer. Therefore I rely on books & the radio for my information and enjoyment. Also living in a rural area and being less active the mobile library is very welcome. Also it is good to have access to writers from Europe, India, Americas etc. There are excellent translations available which are well chosen and provided by our splendid national library service. Why are questions of a persons religion or sexuality being asked; these should be irrelevant?
• The staff are what make this library such a good one. They are always cheerful, willing & helpful – thank you.
• Library hours extended.
• 1)When using the computer would like to have longer than ½ hour before being reminded that the session is up. 2)Easy reference to authors available. 3)No two consecutive days for closing. 4)Opening at 9am rather than 10am
• Two day gap in services mid-week is too long.
• The library is very pleasant and the staff extremely helpful. It would be good if it were open at least one more day.
