Choosing a leaflet

All of the community libraries in Shropshire, including mobile libraries, provide information to answer everyday questions about various issues such as: your rights, homes, health, welfare, work, children, money, leisure time, retirement and much more.

On the library shelves there are books and leaflets on a range of topics including children, consumer rights, disabilities, elderly people, employment, environment, family, health, housing and law. Follow the library locations link for your nearest library.

Information on these and other subjects is also available at Shropshire Customer First and Community Information Points throughout the county, where it is also possible to access some council services direct. For your nearest office follow the link to Community Information in Shropshire.

The County Council website (www.shropshire.gov.uk) is also a very useful resource, bringing together a great deal of varied information, and can often be the first port of call to answer both community information and other enquiries.

Within the County Council website the Community Directory brings together details of clubs, societies, organisations and community services across the county and beyond.
