Customer service

• I am a new member of public libraries having lapsed for more than 15 years. What I see here at Pontesbury, and nationally, is a great update re access and ease of use. I shall be using the library a great deal.Keep it up please. Great.
• The staff provide a good supportive service, the range of books and facilities are very good and if I have not found the book I need it has been ordered for me.
• The librarians are charming, warm and helpful; wish the hours of opening were more so I could make better use of your resources and staff..
• You're wonderful - I don't know how we'd manage without the library in Pontesbury
• Telly Talk is wonderful! I'm going to go home and tell all my neighbours to come in and get their Bus Passes.

The building

• This place is like the tardis - it's enormous inside!
• My husband thinks you're wonderful and it's so convenient that he can come in with his electric buggy and chose his own books.
• It's so handy to have a photocopier available

Books

• The most important development in the library service is the interactive internet service which allows the reservation and renewal of books.
• I think the Top Notch books are a really good idea. I find myself reading books I wouldn't have thought of taking off the shelf otherwise
• It's really helpful to be able to borrow expensive books before decided whether or not to buy them.

Services for children

• Staff are always very welcoming and find time to talk to my children, involving them fully in their visit to the library.
• My little girl loves coming to the library even if we don't have time to chose books she still wants to come in and say hello
• We really love coming to the Toddler Tales it's good to meet up with other mums and toddlers and we always enjoy the craft session
• The Summer Reading Challenge is an excellent scheme. Space Hop really encouraged my children to keep reading through the holidays.
