Market Drayton Library, which is one of seven community libraries in the North Shropshire Library Area, is located in a town centre complex which includes a Shropshire Customer First point and Visitor Information Centre. It is named in honour of Robert Clive of India who was born and educated in the town and is a busy town centre library with a full range of services, including free Internet access through the People's Network. The very successful Market Drayton Homework Club, for children aged 9 - 13 years, meets in the library during term time every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3.30 pm.
