Library stock request

You may request an item, or material in a particular subject area, that you wish to borrow from a library in Shropshire. Please use the library catalogue to trace a specific item and follow the instructions to place an immediate request. You will need to know your PIN (personal identification number) to use this facility. If you do not know your PIN you will need to contact your local library (see "Library membership PIN" link).

If you cannot find the items you require, or you do not know your PIN, you may use a separate online form. Please follow the link on this page to "Library stock online request".

If you would prefer not to submit your request online you may use a printed form. It is available in a PDF version and is attached to this page. Please print it out and complete with as much information as possible, then post it to the Shropshire County Library Service or take it along to your local library.

In all cases you will be contacted again when the item is available or if further information is required.

A charge is made for the request service, except for children’s books reserved by children and books reserved by full-time students, aged under 19 for course work. There is an additional charge when books are obtained through the inter-library loan system. (see "Library charges" link)

Data protection statement
The information that you provide will be used solely for processing your request and will not be passed on to any third parties. It will be retained until the request has been satisfied or cancelled.
