Library catalogue and renewals

The complete online catalogue for Shropshire Libraries allows you to search for any book, audio or video item held in Shropshire Council libraries.

If you are a registered member and have obtained a PIN you can check your loans, renew and reserve items. Please follow the link on this page to Library catalogue and renewals. If you visit any library in Shropshire you will be able to use the online catalogue, or you may like to ask a member of staff to help you.

Searching the catalogue

You can search by author, title and keyword, and reserve items if you wish. To request an item, you need to be a member of Shropshire Libraries and have a PIN. If you do not know your PIN, please follow the link on this page for further information or ask at your local library next time you visit. Keyword search retrieves titles using a search method called relevance ranking which displays the titles you are most likely to want at the top of the list and others which may be of interest below.

Personal details

You can look at your personal record for:

• your membership details
• a list of items you have on loan
• your “Account” (e.g. if you owe any money for fines, loan charges or request fees)

No-one else may look at your details (apart from staff) as they are password protected. To access the information you need both your borrower number (on your library ticket) and your PIN.
