Comments and Complaints
What you said. Have only just joined the library and it’s a really good service. Appreciate you ringing to say my books are in.

What you said. I don’t like the new Bookstart Bear scheme as much as the old one. The new certificates are not nearly as attractive and varied.
What action has been taken. We will pass on your comment to the Bookstart team.
What you said. Thank you for your help – there are some lovely gardening and cookery books here.
What action has been taken. Shawbury Library had a lot of new books added to stock, which has enhanced the selection available.
What you said. How are people who haven’t got an email supposed to know about any fines now overdue letters are not being sent? Not all of us come into the library regularly to check if we owe money. I don’t want to open an email account as I don’t have a computer at home.
What action has been taken All the items taken from the library are stamped with a return by date. Please ask the staff if you would like a print out of all your items. You can also call the 24 hour renewal line on 01743 252100.
