Do you find it difficult to visit your local library because you are disabled, have a long term illness, are frail or have caring responsibilities?
Volunteers can provide the link between you and your library service by visiting you every three or four weeks.

If you wish to be considered for the Home Library Service please complete a form by following the link on this page to "Home Library Service on-line application form".
If you would prefer not to submit your request on-line you may use a printed form. It is available as a PDF document attached to this page. Please print it out and complete with as much information as possible, then post it to Shropshire Libraries (see "Contact" link for the address) or take it along to your local library.
Your request will be acknowledged within ten working days. Once your application has been approved a volunteer will be found for you as soon as possible.
Data protection statement
The council will hold this information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will only use it for the purpose of processing your application. It will be retained for as long as you receive this service.
