Never too young to join the library

To join the library is easy - and it's FREE.
It helps to bring something with your name and address on it. You can have a special ticket if you are a:
- childminder
- pre-school leader
- home educator
- foster carer.
or if someone in the family has additional needs. Please ask for details.
In your family-friendly library you will find:
- a warm welcome
- a bright, comfortable children's area with access for buggies and wheelchairs.
To borrow
- plenty of great books for babies and toddlers
- children's story and rhyme tapes
- CDs, videos and DVDs
- books on parenting and childcare.
To do
- story and rhyme times and other fun activities
- computers with free internet access
- books, music, videos and DVDs for YOU!
To relax
You and your child are very important library customers. There's no charge for items lost or damaged by:
- under fives
- looked after children
- children with additional needs.
You are welcome to feed and change your baby. Noise, tantrums and the need to use the loo are not a problem.
Babies love books - so explore your library to-day!
