• I love to see the children enjoying the library on their visits from Shabwury County Primary School.
What action has been taken. Starting in April there will be free monthly rhymetimes at Shawbury library for children under five years old. All are welcome. Groups from schools, societies and other organisations are most welcome to visit by prior arrangement. We can arrange storytimes and book talks, both in the Library or at the place you usually meet – please ask staff for details.
• The Home Library Service is a good idea – can it come to me?
What action has been taken. The Home Library Service delivers to people who find it difficult to visit the library due to age, disability, illness or care commitments. If you would like to receive this service or help with its delivery, Library staff will be pleased to tell you more.
• Thank you for your help – there are some lovely gardening and cookery books here.
What action has been taken. Library staff can help you to find new authors to enjoy or can suggest titles to help you find information – please ask and we’ll be happy to help.
• I’m glad that I can reserve and renew my books online.
What action has been taken. Books and audio-visual material can be renewed on the Shropshire Libraries website with your library ticket and PIN. Library staff will be happy to give further details of this and other ways to renew.
