Shropshire Libraries provides a "Library in a Shop" at the Post Office in Weston Rhyn, near Oswestry, with the aim of giving people in rural areas better access to the facilities of the local library and to help local shops provide a wider range of services. The library is open during the normal Post Office hours of business.

You can choose from a stock of 500 popular paperbacks for both adults and children. Books are issued on your library ticket.

The village of Weston Rhyn also receives a visit each Monday from the Oswestry Urban Mobile Library.
