All libraries offer:

- access to books and other resources on careers, jobs and job hunting, CV writing and interviews
- information and prospectuses on local full and part time adult education/college courses.

Shropshire libraries also have close links with partner organisations. Next Step offers free impartial information and advice to adults (18+) on learning and work. There are regular advice sessions at Shrewsbury library. Telephone 0800 100 900 to make an appointment.
Libraries throughout Shropshire offer informal adult learning opportunities in subjects ranging from Basic Computer skills and reading groups to craft activities including embroidery and knitting. Contact your local library for more details.
