Friends of Pontesbury Library
The library has a Friends Group which runs events to help raise funds to support special projects and purchase extra equipment. If you would like to "make friends with your library", please ask staff for details.

Customer First Point Pontesbury
The new Customer First Point lets you access services and gain confidential support and advice from a range of organisations at the touch of a button, including advisors from Shropshire County Council and Severnside Housing.
You can also apply for your free bus pass in the library. It only takes a few minutes, and the Telly Talk machine will even take your photograph. Just bring in a document with your name and address (such as a utility bill) and something with your date of birth (driving licence, pension book, or passport).
For more information you can pick up a leaflet at the library or open one online from the link provided on this page. This project is initially running for a trail period. Feedback from people about the service would be very welcome.
