Welcome to the library

You can access your library service wherever you live. There are community libraries, mobile libraries as well as a range of other services for specific user requirements.

Libraries provided by Shropshire Council are administered within three Library Areas.

North Shropshire

Ellesmere Library, Gobowen Library, Market Drayton Library, Oswestry Library, Oswestry Rural Mobile Library, Oswestry Urban Mobile Library, Shawbury Library, Wem Library, Whitchurch Library and Whitchurch Mobile Library. Stoke Heath Young Offenders Institution. There is also a service at Weston Rhyn Post Office.

Central Shropshire

Bayston Hill Library, Library at the Lantern (Harlescott and Sundorne), Pontesbury Library, Music and Drama Library, Reference Library, Shrewsbury Library, Shrewsbury Mobile Library

South Shropshire

Albrighton Library, Bishop's Castle Library, Bishop's Castle Mobile Library, Bridgnorth Library, Bridgnorth Mobile Library, Broseley Library, Church Stretton Library, Cleobury Mortimer Library, Craven Arms Library, Highley Library, Ludlow Library, Ludlow Mobile Library, Much Wenlock Library and Shifnal Library.
