Whitchurch Mobile is one of several mobile libraries in the Library Service visiting rural communities on a fortnightly rota.
The mobile library visits over 80 stops in an area stretching from Whitchurch in the north to Bicton in the south and from Broomfield in the west to Woore in the east.
The mobile carries a range of fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs and talking books for adults and children, and is fully accessible to the disabled with a wheelchair lift.
You can choose your books, request items not available on the mobile, the staff can help you with your queries and if they cannot they will know someone who can! The mobile not only brings all this to you but is a really good place to meet friends and neighbours.
If you would like to know when it will be stopping near you, or you would like further information, follow the links on this page for Whitchurch Library or for Mobile Libraries which contains an A to Z listing of all mobile stops in Shropshire.
Inevitably there are occasions when the mobile library is off the road. If this happens at short notice as many stops as possible will be contacted.
A list of emergency contacts is maintained including people who use a stop that are willing to contact other users to pass on the message. If you are able to help in this respect please contact the library.
