- Have you heard any news about your alterations? What action has been taken. The Library’s refurbishment plans are presently on hold, pending a decision on all capital projects by Shropshire Council.
- Many thanks to those who organised the Lantern making session in the library on Saturday. My grandchildren had a lovely time. It is wonderful to see the library being used in such a way. What action has been taken. The library is regularly used by a number of community groups and the Lantern making session was part of the town’s Christmas Fair. A knitting group meets at the library and new members are always welcome to join and learn a new skill. Shropshire Council’s Community Directory gives details of many local groups and societies. Please ask the library staff if you would like more information.
- Being able to renew my books over the internet is a wonderful service. What action has been taken. Books and audio-visual material can be renewed on the Shropshire Libraries website with your library ticket and PIN. Library staff will be happy to give further details of this and other ways to renew.
- Thank you for all your hard work on behalf of Whixall school. All the classes had a wonderful time and really benefitted from the time they had at the library. What action has been taken. Groups from schools, societies and other organisations are welcomed at the Library. We can arrange storytimes and book talks, both in the Library or at the place you usually meet – please ask staff for details.
