A selection of comments made about Bayston Hill Library appear below. Customer service

• Staff always helpful. Library always neat and tidy. Lots of attention to children - stories for tots and schoolchildren. A pleasant place to visit.
• Warm welcome always, librarians always friendly and willing to help.
• Very helpful staff and pleasant place to visit.
• Lovely, friendly, compact little library, very child friendly. Have been coming here for over 30 years! Recent improvements to internal decor and refurbishment of books and facilities for computers have improved further.

The building

• There is not much room near the large print books and I can't bend down to the bottom shelves.
• More table space without magazines or computers on them - space to open books/newspapers or do paperwork. More choice of daily newspapers.

Opening times

• Maybe another day opening would be great. You finish your book Sunday and have to wait until Tuesday to get another one.
• Just wish you were open on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Books

• There is a bias towards books for female readers. Limited up to date e.g. newly published ones.
• Although my children would be reading over the summer anyway, the Space Hop reading challenge gave them an incentive to finish books and read more than they would otherwise.
• Sometimes could do with more helpers as I often have to wait my turn. A more extensive range of large print books.

Computers

• Just wanted to say how much I appreciate access to Ancestry at Bayston Hill. Also many thanks to the staff who are always extremely helpful. The service they offer is first class.
