Bookstart Rhyme Time
First Tuesday of every month, 2.15pm to 2.45pm

Comments and Complaints
Here is a selection of comments, suggestions and complaints recently received at Wem Library:
What you said. I have recently moved to Wem and I am so thrilled to know how much the library has to offer. Not only for myself but my children too, who are looking forward to taking part in the activities.
What action has been taken. Wem Library runs Bookstart Rhymetime sessions for babies and toddlers every first Tuesday of the month. There are holiday craft activities and storytimes for older children. We also provide a wide range of events for adults.
What you said. For family reasons I am moving out of the area. Having been a member of the library and an avid reader for twenty four years I am going to miss all the staff who have been so friendly and helpful.
What action has been taken. Thank you for your kind comment. We aim to provide an efficient and friendly service for everyone.
What you said. I was able to use public PCs when the library was closed. How come I can’t do that now?
What action has been taken. Walford and North Shropshire College no longer provide reception staff at the Learning Centre so the public PCs are only available to use during Wem Library opening hours.
What you said. I enjoyed the reading challenge and the smelly stickers.
What action has been taken. Shropshire Libraries takes part in the Summer Reading challenge each year with many incentives and events throughout the school holidays.
