The Reference Library in Shrewsbury holds a large collection of government and official publications which includes:
- Acts of Parliament from Magna Carta to the present day
- Statutory Instruments from 1966 to date
- law reports including All England Law Reports from 1936 and those appearing in the Times newspaper from 1852
- reports from government departments from 1974 to date
- Command Papers from 1974
- statistics including all the major series published by the Stationery Office from 1974
Titles do not appear on the Library Catalogue , but indexes are available to help identify individual items.

Bailii (British and Irish Legal Information Institute)
Bailii covers case law from Britain, Ireland and Europe together with some legislation. Most of the case law is fairly recent, within the last 20 years, but some older material is available. There are links to law resources for other countries.
UK Legislation
The UK Legislation website holds most types of legislation, both primary (for example Acts) and secondary (for example Statutory Instruments). Most of the primary legislation is in revised form - the amendments are incorporated in the text. The content ranges from the latest as it is published to very old legislation, for example "A statute concerning tallage" of 1297.
