Ludlow Mobile Library is one of five mobile libraries in Shropshire that visit rural communities on a fortnightly rota.
The library is fully accessible to the disabled, with a wheelchair lift and a hearing loop, and carries adult fiction and non-fiction books in hardback and paperback, as well as videos, talking books, DVDs and books for children.
If you would like to know when the library will be stopping near you, follow the link on this page to Mobile Libraries for an A to Z listing of all mobile stops in Shropshire.
There will be extensive changes to mobile library routes from 4 April 2011. If you would like further information, please contact Ludlow Library.
Inevitably, there are occasions when the mobile library is off the road. If this happens at short notice, as many stops as possible will be contacted. A list of emergency contacts is maintained, including people who use a stop who are willing to contact other users to pass on the message. If you are able to help in this respect, please contact the library.

- The mobile library service to Pulverbatch is excellent, and I trust that we shall have the service for a long, long time.
- There are some people who do not have their own transport, and would have to use the bus service to Shrewsbury library, which is approx 10 miles away.
- We have already lost several services in the village e.g. Post Office and village shop, so we hope the library service continues.
- Very helpful and consistently pleasant service.
