Gobowen Library - your comments

A selection of comments made about Gobowen Library during the survey undertaken in October 2006 appears below. All suggestions and complaints are carefully considered and action is taken to make improvements where these are possible within physical and budgetary constraints. Do you agree with these views? Today’s visit was to provide transport for my wife, but as a member I am very happy with the library.

Staff always very helpful and always cheerful with a welcome smile.

The library is cluttered, it needs investment to streamline, or increase in size. I cannot easily study the books below knee height. I would like to see a real effort at modernisation. I am very pleased with the library being in the village and do not travel to other libraries.

I would like to say I am very pleased with the overall help you can receive at the library. The staff are always keen to help with any questions you ask.

If a book is not available the librarian will order it for you and ring you when it arrives in the library. Nothing is too much trouble. I am pleased with the service, possibly a better service because it is a village library

Gobowen is a fantastic little library. I visit regularly with my two children. It is very child friendly with a really good selection of children’s books. The staff are really helpful and regularly order in any books my children want to read if not available Seem to come in really quick – keep up the good work!

I use the library regularly and am always impressed by the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere and excellent condition of the library.

This library is wonderful a pleasure to visit. The staff are lovely, helpful, cheerful and friendly. I have noticed how good they are with the children who come in. There is always good information available. I really enjoy coming here it is a great asset to our community. It is like visiting friends.
