If you are a registered childminder you can have a special Childminder's Library Ticket.
How do I get one?
It helps to bring along something with your name and address on it and tell us your OFSTED registration number.
You can borrow up to 25 books (and up to 6 story cassettes or CDs) for twelve weeks at a time. You can introduce the children you look after to the library and borrow books for them to enjoy in your home.
All children and their carers are very important
There's no charge for items lost or damaged by under fives, looked after children or children with additional needs.
You are welcome to feed and change your baby. in you family-friendly library noise, tantrums and the need to use the loo are not a problem.
At your local library you will find...

- books on childcare

- computers with free internet access.
Many libraries run Rhymetimes and Storytimes. All libraries hold exciting holiday activities.
