• Temporary Event Notices
• Personal Licences
• Gaming Machines in Pubs & Clubs
• Betting Shops
• Small Society Lotteries
• Sex Establishment Licence
• House to House Collections
• Street Collections
• Pet Shops
• Riding Establishments
• Animal Boarding Establishments
• Dog Breeders
• Dangerous Wild Animals
• Zoo licences
• Caravan site licences
• Motor Salvage licences
• Scrap metal dealers
• Acupuncture, tattooing, cosmetic and ear piercing

We also:

• Provide advice to potential licence holders and members of the public.
• Checking and processing of all applications and payments.
• Negotiating with applicants and persons making representations.
• Bring prosecutions for offences or breaches of licence in relation to the above licences and permits.
• Ensure all complaints are investigated.
• Preparation of reports to Licensing Committee and for licensing hearings. Advising applicants of any decisions.
• Consulting with outside authorities i.e. Police, Fire Authorities, Gambling Commission, and other council sections.
• Carrying out enforcement exercises both during normal office working hours and outside normal office hours. These are also done jointly with outside authorities.
