You can search for information about the following types of licences:
Alcohol and entertainment licences
i.e. licences issued under the Licensing Act 2003 in relation to:
- the sale by retail of alcohol
- the supply of alcohol by or on behalf of clubs
- the provision of regulated entertainment
- the provision of late night refreshment
Licences issued for private hire and hackney carriage vehicles and drivers
Animal licences
- ie. licences relating to:
- Animal boarding
- Animal breeding
- Dangerous wild animals
- Pet shops
- Riding establishments
- Zoos
- Performing animals
Gambling licences
Other licences
- ie. licences relating to:
- Acupuncture licences
- Tattooing licences
- Ear piercing licences
- Electrolysis licences
- Sex shops
- Street collection
- House-to-house collection
- Caravan sites
- Scrap metal dealers
The register will allow you to access licensing information whenever and wherever you want, which may be late at night or at a weekend, and not necessarily during normal office hours.
