Services available for people with mental health problems in Shropshire include community and day services, respite services and hospital treatment.
How do I ask for help?
The Community Mental Health Teams are situated in the main market towns of Shropshire. You can contact your local Community Mental Health Team direct. There is a link to contact details on this page. Alternatively someone else, such as your GP, may refer you to us on your behalf.
What happens next?
You will be given an assessment of your care needs. This will be done usually by a nurse, social worker or occupational therapist.
Whether or not you are offered services will depend on your assessment of needs and what services you are asking for.
If you would like to make an enquiry about mental health services in Shropshire for yourself or for a friend or relative you can complete our on-line enquiry form or contact your nearest Social Care Team direct to speak to a member of staff.
