The Shropshire museums forum meet at various cultural venues throughout Shropshire between 3 to 4 times a year.
Who is involved?
The Shropshire museum group includes representatives from museum and heritage organisations from across the county ranging from a national museum to small history societies. It may be appropriate that as a heritage body you could benefit from being involved in the group.
What do they do?
The agenda includes a guest speaker/s to provide advice and guidance on a particular theme such as fundraising.
Why should I join?
- to network with colleagues
- to be able to advocate your service at county level
- to learn of new offers in the heritage world: locally, regionally, and nationally
- to share your knowledge
- to gain an understanding of possible links with Shropshire Museum Service
- to gain access to regular information bulletins via e-mail (postal updates could be discussed)
