Open Tuesday 30 March 2010 to Sunday 31 October 2010
There are daily demonstrations giving a flavour of farm life at the turn of the 20th century. The Farm Bailiff and the Bailiff's Wife will be around the farm yard and cottage carrying out everyday tasks and interpreting Victorian farm life. You can see butter being made in the dairy at weekends, highdays and holidays.
Each week we have visits from:
- the Blacksmith (Tuesdays)
- the Wheelwright (Wednesdays and Fridays)
- the Farrier (Thursdays)
- the Dairymaid (Saturdays and Sundays)
Throughout the season there are occasional visits from other craft demonstrators as follows:
- the Bodger at the Pole lathe
- the Stickmaker
- the Basket maker
- the Potter
To avoid disappointment, if you are hoping to see a particular craft demonstration on the day of your visit, please call in advance to check the programme.
