There are daily demonstrations giving a flavour of farm life at the turn of the 20th century:

  • the Bodger at the Pole lathe
  • the Stickmaker
  • the Hurdle maker
  • the Basket maker
  • the potter

2008 events programme:

  • 26 May - A Grand Day Out - Spring Plant Sale and Picnic - Local plant and food stalls together with entertainment, competitions and behind the scenes tours. Try your hand at croquet, clock golf and other garden games. Picnic in the patch to musical accompaniment. 'A Grand Day Out' for all the family
  • 8 June - Midland Oil Engine Club Rally
  • 28 to 29 June - Wheels and Waggons weekend
  • 13 July - All about Bees
  • 17 August - Craft and Skills Bonanza
  • 13 to 14 September - History Revealed (A look back at Acton Scott over the Centuries)
  • 21 September - Harvest Festival (procession 3pm)
  • 5 October - Root Vegetable Revue
  • 25 to 26 October and 1 to 2 November - Steam Threshing
