Education and learning Shropshire music service Music for TeachersThe Education Advisory Services' 'Music for Teachers' (m4t) website has been designed by the Music Adviser for Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. It has been offering support for teachers and pupils of all ages since 2001. During this time the site has been awarded 5 internet awards for excellence of design and content.
The site aims to support teachers by providing examples of planning, schemes of work and other resources so that there is a clarity of progression from early years to the end of mandatory music education at age 14.
October 2004 saw the latest web award when the 'Topmarks' website described the site as 'one of the best educational websites' on the internet. In 2005, the 'Music for Teachers' site was transferred to shropshire.gov.uk. Both versions of the website, as well as the 'Topmarks' site can be accessed using the links on this page.
