Planning a visit
Finding Northgate Museum in Bridgnorth is straightforward. The Museum is at the North end of the town's High Street. If you stand with the Town Hall (the half timber framed building in the middle of the street) behind you and look up the street, you will see a large sandstone building which straddles the road, this is Bridgnorth's Northgate and home of the museum.

Access to the museum is via steep stone steps, which may not be suitable for people with mobility problems or young children.

Toilet facilities are not available at the museum, although the voluteers on duty will be able to direct you the nearby conveniences.
