Visit the Northgate Museum in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. Packed full of treasures, the museum should be the first stop for anyone wanting to discover the history of the town and the local area. From an Edwardian till, to a model of Trevithick's Steam Engine, the museum's collection will interest the whole family, both young and old.

The museum is open from Easter to October every year:

    Friday 11 am - 4 pm
    Saturday 2 pm - 4 pm
    Sunday 11 am - 4 pm
    Bank Holidays - 11 am - 4 pm

During the School Holidays, the museum is open every day:
    11 am - 4 pm, except:
    Saturday 2 pm - 4 pm

Entry to the museum is free, but donations are welcomed.
The museum is run and managed by volunteers from the Bridgnorth and District Historical Society, which founded the museum in 1951.
