Services available

Helena Lane is a purpose built resource centre providing a wide range of social care and health services. The centre provides a service for those people who have been assessed as needing some support and who prefer to continue living at home.

Our service is designed to improve and maintain quality of life to promote independence, facilitate friendships, provide social contact and meet individual needs.

Helena Lane is located at Hamlet Road, Ludlow, SY8 2NP, Tel 01584 871400 and there are spaces reserved for disabled parking.

Helena Lane Resource Centre can offer:

• Day care for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
• Trained, caring and committed staff
• A lunch time meal which can be purchased from the centre's cafe which provides a nutritionally balanced meal. (Special diets can be catered for).
• Transport can be provided if necessary
• The opportunity to take up new and rediscovered hobbies and interests
• Assisted bathing facilities.

To attend day care an assessment from the South West Social Care Team is required with a referral then made to the staff at the day centre and a visit arranged if required. To contact the Social Care Team please call 0845 678 9011.

Cafe facilities at the centre

The cafe is open to the public Monday to Friday from 10am until 2.45pm offering light snacks, hot beverages and a selection of homemade cakes. A hot lunch is served from 1pm to 2pm Monday to Friday. The cafe can also provide hot or cold buffets for small private parties.
