Using stolen or fake Blue Badges, or allowing a family member or friend to use a badge without the badge holder in the vehicle is fraud.
Blue Badge fraud can mean a fine of up to £1000.
How can I avoid Blue Badge fraud?
Blue Badge holders must refer to the Rights and Responsibilities booklet.
Return the Blue Badge and time disc if you no longer need it or on the death of the badge holder. To prevent any fraudulent misuse please hand them into any Shropshire Council establishment.
Do not use your badge if it is out of date or the details become unreadable as you may be issued a Penalty Charge Notice.
For further information on applying for a Blue Badge concession or to see a copy of the Rights and Responsibilities booklet, please follow the links on this page.
