Shrewsbury residents' digital parking scheme

Each eligible household is entitled to apply for up to two digital permits, but only one car registration can be applied to each permit. The permit enables the holder to park in their chosen designated car park. The vehicle must be registered to you and your address, and that address has to be included on the list of streets that qualify for a permit. A permit won't guarantee you a parking space within the designated car park. Details of digital permits will be accessible via a civil enforcement officer’s handheld computer whilst they are on patrol. There will be no physical permit to display.

Digital permits for these car parks are not valid for parking on-street or for any other car park other than your chosen designated car park. There are a limited number of permits available at each designated car park, and these are as follows:

Please note that Frankwell Main and St. Julian’s Friars long-stay car parks are susceptible to flooding at times of heavy rainfall and high river levels, and we advise that if you obtain a permit you regularly check the local media. It's also recommended that you sign up to the Environment Agency Flood Line Warning Direct Service online or by calling 0345 988 1188.

Residents with an address on any of the eligible streets are entitled to apply for a residents digital off-street parking permit, subject to availability within their allocated area.
