To view planning applications submitted to the council, click the link to the Online Planning Register, in the menu bar.
Also available are details of appeals lodged, and registers of formal enforcement action taken by the council.
Development Management
The Development Management section are responsible for the determination of planning applications submitted to Shropshire Council.
At present, planning applications are assessed at a local level in accordance with policies set out in the local plan documents adopted by the five district and borough councils which combined to form Shropshire Council. These will shortly be superseded by a new planning policy document known as a Local Development Framework which is currently being prepared by the planning policy section. More information on the Local Development Framework can be found on the planning policy pages of this website.

Development Management Charter
A 'Charter for Development Management' has been produced by Shropshire Council to explain the standards of service and performance that you can expect. A copy of the 'Charter' is attached to this page.
