Shropshire County Council and Telford & Wrekin Council adopted the Minerals Local Plan on 14 April 2000. You can download a copy of the plan from this page.

Mineral Local Plan polices saved beyond September 2007
In 2007, Shropshire County Council applied to the Government Office for the West Midlands (GOWM) to 'save' a number of policies in the Minerals Local Plan beyond their expiry date of 27th September 2007. We have received confirmation from GOWM that 20 policies of the Minerals Local Plan have been 'saved' beyond September 2007. The policies which have not been 'saved' have now expired. Copies are also available for inspection at libraries and council offices throughout Shropshire.
