Applicants are invited to express an interest in putting forward their ideas in relation to the future development of Shropshire Local Healthwatch.
Under the Government’s NHS reforms, legislation is being introduced that will give citizens a greater say in how Health and Social Care services are run. This will be the role of an independent Local HealthWatch organisation for Shropshire. The Council is inviting prospective providers to initial soft market testing sessions to discuss how Shropshire Local HealthWatch can be developed to fulfil the functions towards this aim.

Please note that this is very much an initial stage to assist the Council to assess options and to decide on the best course of action. These initial discussions could potentially lead to a formal tendering process which would be openly advertised.
