Fees must be paid one month in advance of the date of the marriage or partnership registration.
Payment of this fee does not guarantee the event taking place. This is subject to all legal preliminaries, which are the responsibility of the individual, being completed as required.
Certificates
There is a charge of £3.50 per certificate purchased on the day of the ceremony.
Additional copies can be paid for and ordered in advance of the ceremony. In addition, further copies can be ordered following the proceedings using the on-line form on our page referring to the ordering of copy certificates (see links on this page).
The Registration Service will acknowledge receipt of your payment within seven days of receiving it.
