Register office appointments

Whether it be to record a birth, a marriage or a death, the Registrars located around Shropshire are there to help us with the legal necessities.

Although registration officers will make every effort to see people who turn up without appointments, there are no guarantees that they will be seen in less than an hour as appointments take priority.

You can request an appointment with a registrar to register a birth or death, or to arrange a marriage or a civil partnership, by telephoning 0345 678 9016 (via Customer Service Centre.)

Shropshire Council will use the data you provide for the sole purpose of making your appointment at the register office. Your personal details will be retained for a maximum of 1 year and will not be passed to any other parties or used for any other purpose.
